ABOUT ME
Hello! Welcome to my portfolio.
I am a self-taught digital artist and graphic designer based in Kenya, currently entering the field of product design(UX/UI).
I previously worked at Sirnare Studios(2022-2023), after 5 years(2017-2022) of freelance work for organisations such as Fanusi Study Centre, Nairobi National Museum, and Trot Africa, and various clients online.
I'm a huge fan of sci fi, fantasy and futurism, and the stories they can tell, especially in film and video games. This inspired me to get into illustration. Sachin Teng, Simon Stålenhag, Gabriel Picolo, Sam Bosma, Vewn, Gyimah Gariba, Keinan Lafferty, and Ethan Becker are some of the artists I'm inspired by and learn from.

What I can do
Illustrating characters and creatures. I also do custom work including conceptualization, colouring and linework.
Graphic design work for social media, branding, and promoting events.
I have significant experience in web graphic design and user interface design.
I am proficient in Krita, Canva and Medibang. I also have some experience with Figma, Wordpress, Inkscape, website bulders like Wix, and video editing programs like Shotcut.
I'm also good at using Google drives and its tools such as Google docs, as well as using online research to find information and resources that would be unavailable otherwise. This has allowed me to teach myself digital illustration and graphic design.
